Bill Peach Journeys invites you to voyage in style through French Polynesia’s Leeward Islands. We begin with a night at the beautiful Intercontinental Tahiti Resort in Papeete before transferring over to the lush and verdant Moorea for 2 nights at the luxurious Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa. We join the Island Passage in Bora Bora, hailed as the most beautiful island in the world.

From here you will cruise for 7 nights through these magnificent turquoise waters. An intimage voyage of only 24 guests, you will enjoy the romance of dinner under the stars, stunning beauty whilst kayaking on the lagoon, swimming with turtles, wander exquisite beaches or simply relax on deck while enjoying cocktails.... paradise!

Upon arrival at Papeete International Airport you will be met and transferred to the luxurious Intercontinental Tahiti Resort offering the perfect polynesian ambience and view of the outer islands.

Papeete - Moorea

After breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. It is the primary center of Tahitian governmental, commercial, industrial and financial services and is a tourism hub. After lunch, take a ferry across to the island of Moorea and your luxury hotel.

Today enjoy a circle island tour of Moorea. You will drive past coffee plantations and pineapple fields along the scenic coastline while learning about island history. Soak up the views of Opunohu Bay and Cook’s Bay from the Belvedere lookout, breathtaking vistas.

After breakfast begin with a lagoon discovery which allows you to enjoy incredible views of the mountains of Moorea and their luxuriant vegetation. We will also enjoy a picnic on a motu (islet), a truly tropical experience. This afternoon, visit the Moorea Dolphin Centre to learn about dolphins and their ecosystem.

Moorea - Bora Bora

Morning at leisure then fly to Bora Bora and transfer to the Island Escape by helicopter for the Captain's welcome and dinner.

Bora Bora - Raiatea

Perhaps a swim before cruising west across the Bora Bora Lagoon to the Island pair of Taha’a and Raiatea. Lunch at Herepiti Bay on our way to visit Champon Pearl farm then on to Uturoa, the main centre in Raiatea for our overnight. Perhaps an evening stroll ashore after dinner.

Raiatea - Huahine

After breakfast we depart for a guided island history, marae and tour of the Faaroa river, Tahiti’s only “navigable river”. Afternoon fishing while we cruise to Teapaa Bay on Huahine in time for sunset.

After breakfast we tender you ashore to explore Teapaa Beach where you will have time to swim, snorkel, paddle board, kayak or explore the shoreline. Lunch is served on board. A snorkelling trip is on o er before we move to Haapu Bay for the evening where we are entertained by a cultural group with Tahitian singing and dancing.

Huahine – Taha’a

Fishing this morning as we depart Huahine for the Taha’a eastern reef and its stunningly beautiful azure waters. We visit an organic vanilla plantation before the special anchorage tonight, an amazing setting with the reef in the foreground and the towering peaks of Bora Bora in the distance.

Tata’a - Bora Bora

A coral garden snorkelling expedition this morning before cruising into the Bora Bora lagoon and a visit to Bloody Mary’s.

Bora Bora

A shark and ray excursion, water sport activities, snorkelling or simply relax on board before the crew hosted farewell BBQ under the stars this evening.

Bora Bora - Papeete

Fly to Papeete and transfer to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Papeete - Sydney

Your journey concludes today after breakfast and you are transferred to the airport for your flight home taking with you memories of an unforgettable Tahitian discovery.

‘MV Island Passage’ is purpose built to explore. Experience new linens, an ever changing selection of natural soaps and shampoos, nightly turndown service with delicious chocolates and bottled water, the fresh smell of flowers, ample lighting, storage and seating areas with individually controlled air conditioning. Rooms are serviced each morning. As expected, bath and beach towels are also supplied.

The ‘Island Passage' was designed to accommodate a 6-seater helicopter on the top deck.  Island Escape made a very thorough evaluation of the helicopter companies that they engage for these flights. This journey is designed for the more active traveller who is looking to venture off the beaten path. To fully participate in all activities, the traveller must be able to walk up to 1km on even surfaces unaided, walk up steps unassisted and be able to get on and off the ship onto smaller launches.
