Arrive into Adelaide and transfer to the Mayfair Hotel, a heritage-listed five star boutique hotel located opposite Rundle Mall. Meet your Journey Director and fellow travellers at a Welcome Dinner tonight.

After breakfast we soak in the aromas and flavours of Adelaide Central Market on a guided food tour. Midmorning, journey south through rolling vineyards to McLaren Vale. Sip bold reds at award-winning Wirra Wirra Winery and savour a delicious lunch at the rustic-chic Harry’s Deli.
At d’Arenberg, art meets indulgence with the surreal Salvador Dalí exhibit, an eclectic museum, followed by wine tasting. This afternoon, drive to Victor Harbour to view the town’s coastal charm, known for its alluring mix of surf, sun and sand and its stunningly preserved early colonial architecture. End your day with a relaxing dinner at McCracken Resort, where vineyard views meet sea breezes.

This morning, we head to Cape Jervis. This small town boasts some of the most striking views of the dramatic Fleurieu Peninsula coastline and Investigator Strait. The rugged and picturesque vistas of Southern Ocean sweeping grandeur are a sight to behold! Board the ferry and cross sparkling waters to Kangaroo Island, where wild beauty awaits. Begin the tour at Kangaroo Island Wool and learn about the industry, history, process and products produced on Kangaroo Island. From here enjoy a fresh seafood lunch before heading off to Seal Bay Conservation Park for a private tour among the endearing Australian sea-lions.
Continue to Lathami Conservation Park on the north side of the island which has been set up to protect critically endangered animal species. Finally, uncover the hidden paradise of Stokes Bay, Stokes Bay voted the second-best beach worldwide before arriving at our accommodation, the Aurora Ozone Hotel, a blend of historic charm and modern comfort.

Today, set off on a full-day island adventure that captures the soul of Kangaroo Island. First, breathe in the wild beauty of Vivonne Bay, often voted one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches famed for its long crescent of soft white sand against stunning azure water. The area is notable for its diverse selection of wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, and diverse bird species. Occasionally, you might spot sea lions or dolphins along the coast.
On our way to Flinders Chase National Park we will travel through some fire affected landscapes and note the recovery process following recent rains. Upon arrival, marvel at the gravity-defying curves of the Remarkable Rocks, and feel the sea spray as waves crash beneath the ancient stone bridge of Admirals Arch — a photographer’s dream and a moment you’ll never forget.
Refreshed after a picnic lunch amongst nature’s soundtrack, we make a stop at the Red Gum Gallery, where local artistry meets the island’s rich character. Artisan Jonny Gloyne transforms ancient Kangaroo Island red gum stumps into stunning functional pieces. This evening, enjoy our Farewell Dinner as we recount the many highlights to be found in these very special corners of South Australia.

After breakfast at the hotel we fly to Adelaide Airport and transfer to your flight home, taking with you memories of a delightful South Australian Sojourn.

Level of Fitness Required – Easy Going
These journeys are not physically demanding unless you want them to be. They include easy-paced walks, which are on mainly flat ground. You must be able to walk up to 1 kilometre unaided and will not need any foreseen assistance throughout the journey. Participants will be required to walk up steps and inclines. For all clients to full enjoy this travel experience, good health and mobility is required by all.
