New Zealand, the luxurious way

Majestic New Zealand is an ancient land that offers nothing but breathtaking beauty and sumptuous sight-seeing. During the Circumnavigate New Zealand Aircruise tour, you’ll spend 13 days exploring its majesty and beauty in opulent style and exclusive luxury, thanks to Bill Peach Journeys.

New Zealand is a small land, which packs a massive punch when it comes to must-see sites to visit. We’ve put together a list of the most exquisite must-see locations, that you will experience during the Circumnavigate New Zealand Aircruise.

Fiordland National Park

Deep within New Zealand’s South Island, lies the Fiordland National Park. This is one of the southern hemisphere’s great wilderness regions. Thanks to its majestic beauty it has reached World Heritage status and is an absolute must-see when visiting this iconic land. During our New Zealand circumnavigation, we’ll cruise the waters of Doubtful Sounds, one of the National Park’s most immaculate fiords and we’ll stop, relax and enjoy the rustic pleasures that the lakeside town of Te Anau offers.

Mount Cook

We’ll enjoy stunning aerial views of the majestic Mount Cook by private airplane during our journey. Mount Cook is the country’s highest mountain and is part of the Southern Alps range of mountains. It is nestled in the heart of the Southern Island and is a luxury spot not to be missed.

Dart River

During our NZ journey, we’ll visit true ‘Lord of the Rings’ country, along the Dart River. We will take a luxury jet boat tour along the River and watch in awe as some of the world’s most jaw-dropping scenery unfolds around us. View alpine glaciers, ancient Beech Tree forests and vivid mountain terrain.

Marlborough Sounds

Experience these long, lazy aquamarine waters that lap at sandy shores as we cruise along the waters of Marlborough Sounds. These once ancient valleys, now sunken and filled with Pacific Ocean waters, offer spectacular views of the breath-taking mountainscapes which surround them.

Napier

Located in iconic Hawke’s Bay, Napier’s a perfectly preserved seaport town. After an earthquake in 1931, which destroyed most of the town, it was rebuilt as is and its art-deco architecture has since been perfectly preserved. Our journey most certainly will not miss a turn past this must-see town.

Cape Kidnappers

Its name may not excite, but the sandstone headland, which lies a short distance East from Hawke’s Bay is a spot you won’t want to miss. Named by Captain Cook after an attempted kidnapping of one of his crew, Cape Kidnappers is now home to the largest and only mainland Gannet colony in the world. A short, easy walk around the headland will allow you to view these large, white birds as they nest in safety. You might also want to play a round of golf at the Cape’s golf course. Don’t miss the views from the 6th hole, as it has been given the title of one of the greatest golf holes in the world thanks to its remarkable beauty.

Bay of Islands

Known for its exquisite natural beauty and ancient Maori history, Bay of Islands is a subtropical region likened to paradise. Just north of Auckland, the bay is comprised of 144 islands, which we will view in all its grand splendour from private aircraft during the journey.

Waikeke Island

A stop on Waikeke Island is a must during the circumnavigation Aircruise as it is best known for its fine dining and wine tasting experiences. The island boasts stunning beaches and beautiful landscapes as well as hand-cultivated vineyards and olive groves, which are not to be missed.

Cities

During the tour, we will spend time in the country’s most well-known cities. Queenstown is known for its stunning scenery as a lake and alpine city. You’ll experience quintessential NZ like never before in this city thanks to its majestic mountain landscapes and crystal-clear lake surrounds. Christchurch is the country’s fine-dining hub where Michelin-star chefs abound. You’ll be able to stroll around the streets of this iconic city and enjoy some boutique shopping. A stop at the marvellous Botanic Gardens would be suggested too. Auckland is the 3rd most liveable city in the world and is a vibrant, eclectic place to visit. Thanks to the mix of beautiful beaches, scenic landscapes, first-world dining experiences and shopping of note, Auckland is more than just a city.
Circumnavigate New Zealand Aircruise will take you on a journey of luxury and opulence as you effortlessly experience New Zealand at is finest.
