Join Bill Peach Journeys for a kaleidoscope of colour as we explore Western Australia’s spectacular wildflowers. World-famous for its dazzling floral display, Western Australia is home to one of the largest collections on earth. Abundant in the colourful blooms of more than 12,000 species, 60 per cent can’t be found anywhere else on the planet. As we tour the city of Perth and travel south along the coast, we will see how the wildflowers of the west colour the landscapes from coast to forest, city to vines. Margaret River’s flora is so significant, it has been rated by the World Wildlife Foundation for its important biodiversity and conservation.

We explore the wildflowers of Perth’s Botanical Gardens including its Kangaroo Paw and marvel at the forests and coastal heaths of the South West, a region noted for its delicate rare native orchids. Cameras at the ready, we view vibrant carpets of everlastings and delight in the splendour of nature’s palette as grevilleas, astrolomas and honeysuckles paint a vivid tableau. Exceptional accommodation, exquisite cuisine, fascinating touring and unique, breathtaking wildflowers – simply divine!
