About Private Luxury Journeys
Private Luxury Journeys have been designed for those clients who are looking for exceptional travel experiences with boutique modes of transport and who prefer to travel privately rather than with a Bill Peach Journeys group. Private Luxury Journeys offers the flexibility of travel dates but still provides the same high degree of service and style synonymous with Bill Peach Journeys.

A Seamless Experience
From the very moment you reach your desired destination, your seamless travel experience begins. This same level of care continues until you are returned safely to your return flight home. When travelling to South Africa it is important to be assured that everything is taken care of from the moment your journey begins until its conclusion.

International flights
International Airfares are not included in this journey. However, Bill Peach Journeys is able to arrange airfares to suit individual requirements. Should you wish us to book your International Airfares, please ask the Reservations department or your local travel agent for details.

Game Drives
Within Kapama River Lodge, game drives are the main activity provided to view the African wildlife in its natural environment. Game drives are undertaken in open 4WD vehicles. Access into the vehicle involves a high step on to a side plate and then into the vehicle. The game drives will predominantly be on unsealed and in some cases ungraded dirt roads.

Level of Fitness – Active
This journey is more challenging and designed for the more active traveller who is looking to venture off the beaten path. To fully participate in all activities the traveller must be able to walk up to 2km on even surfaces unaided, travel by open four-wheel drive vehicles along ungraded roads, walk up steps unassisted and board boats from water tenders.

In keeping with the locations, some of the accommodation is spread out and at some distance from facilities. As always, we use the best available accommodation. You will be staying in 5 star accommodations such as the The Taj in Cape Town, the Kapama River Lodge, Kruger Private Reserve and the David Livingstone Safari Lodge, which may be spread out at some distance from facilities. Given the locations, only limited medical supplies are available in areas visited, therefore, all required medications will need to be brought from home by you.

We strongly urge you to consider the fitness rating before selecting your preferred journey, in respect for your fellow travellers.  Bill Peach Journeys reserves the right to refuse travel to any client whose fitness level is below the recommended rating.

Health Requirements
We recommend that for the most up to date information please contact your local doctor.
