Cruise the mighty Murray River and enjoy the wonderful biodiversity of the region. Enjoy lunch today at the beautiful Trentham Estate Winery that is on the banks of the Murray River. Here we will have the chance to enjoy some of the fine wines of the region complemented by exquisite local produce. Re-board the private aircraft this afternoon to view the southern islands. Arrive at Kangaroo Island, one of Australia’s largest nature reserves.

Kangaroo Island
Today is devoted to exploring the wonders of Kangaroo Island. At Kangaroo Island’s Seal Bay, enjoy uninterrupted viewing of endangered Australian sea lions at close range. There is also the chance to explore Flinders Chase National Park, which is registered as one of Australia’s
most important sanctuaries for native animals.

King Island - Hobart
From wildlife to sumptuous produce, we now enjoy a scenic flight to the gourmet island of the Southern Straits. King Island is renowned for its excellent seafood and exquisite dairy produce. The visit includes a tour of the island. This afternoon the aircraft awaits for a brief flight to Australia’s largest island. Tasmania has a diverse landscape, from rugged wilderness to quaint historic townships. On arrival into Hobart

This morning there is an opportnity to visit MONA – the newest and most contemporary gallery in Australia. This afternoon, board the Peppermint Bay II , where you will cruise the southern waterways and view majestic sea eagles and peregrine falcons, playful dolphins,
and even seasonal migrating whales.

Hobart – Freycinet
Today we travel by road from Hobart to Freycinet via the Tasman peninsula. Upon arrival we have an afternoon tour of Bicheno, a pretty fishing town with a busy harbour. There are also some great beaches around the town and diving is also popular. Here we visit Natureworld and hopefully a chance to have an up close experience with some Tasmanian Devils. Transfer late afternoon to the stunning Freycinet Lodge.

Wine Glass Bay
This morning take a cruise on Wineglass Bay. Relax on board and enjoy the spectacular surrounds of this remote and stunning part of Tasmania. Explore the rugged coastline with towering pink granite cliffs plunging into the Tasman Sea. There is an opportunity for you to walk on the beach at Wine Glass Bay, which is recognised as one of the top ten beaches in the world, or simply relax on board enjoying magnificent surroundings. This afternoon is yours to spend at leisure at the Lodge.

Freycinet - Cradle Mountain
This morning join a smaller aircraft for our flight to Launceston. Transfer by road to Mole Creek Karst National Park. The park is one of the most recent additions to Tasmania’s outstanding network of reserves and provides protection for one of the finest and most visited cave systems in the state. Underground streams have made caves with splendid calcite formations. The journey continues to Cradle Mountain. At the base of Cradle Mountain, in deep depressions cut by glacial action, lies Crater Lake, Dove Lake and Lake Lilla. Cradle Mountain - Lake St Clair National Park, encompassing some 161,000 hectares, covers some of Tasmania’s highest country and is renowned for its magnificent alpine scenery. Transfer to the luxurious Cradle Mountain Lodge.

Flinders Island - Sydney
This morning we re-board our aircraft for the short flight to remote Flinders Island with its wealth of natural beauty. Located in the waters of Bass Strait, off the north-eastern tip of Tasmania, Flinders is the largest island in the Furneaux Island Group. This is a group of more than 50 islands that are all that remain of the land bridge which once joined Tasmania to the Australian mainland. Time to tour the island and enjoy lunch before heading back to Sydney and ending an unforgettable journey.

Level of Fitness - Easy Going
This journey is not physically demanding unless you want it to be. It includes easy paced walks which are on mainly flat ground. You must be able to walk up to 500 metres unaided and will not need any foreseen assistance throughout the journey.
