Day 2 - Waiheke Island Travel by ferry to Waiheke Island, and sample its world-class wines. Returning to Auckland by private yacht, try your hand at sailing. Accommodation: Hilton Hotel or similar
Day 3 - Auckland / Bay of Islands Our private aircraft awaits for a spectacular flight to the tip of the North Island, Cape Reinga before landing at the scenic Bay of Islands. Accommodation: Copthorne Hotel or Edgewater Palms Apartments
Day 4 - Bay of Islands / Rotorua Board our private aircraft for a spectacular flight over the islands dotted through the Hauraki Gulf. Today's journey takes us to the volcanic plateau and the famous Rotorua thermal region, renowned for its towering geysers, boiling mud, hot springs and focus on the Maori culture. Day 5 - Napier / Wellington Our flight this morning allows us breathtaking views of New Zealand's North Island. On arrival at Napier explore this beautifully preserved art deco town. This afternoon, travel by four-wheel drive to Cape Kidnappers to view the breeding grounds of New Zealand's only mainland Gannet Colony. The aircraft awaits for a short flight to the capital of New Zealand - Wellington. Visit the acclaimed Te Papa Meseum depicting the arts, culture and heritage of New Zealand. Day 6 - Wellington / Nelson Visit Wellington's Botanical Gardens and ride on the famous cable car. Take a flight across the Marlborough Sound, landing at the picturesque arts and craft township of Nelson. Enjoy lunch at one of the famous local wineries. Day 7 - Nelson / Te Anau This quaint township of Nelson is home to over 300 fulltime artists and craftspeople. For those who wish, explore the art trail and view their works in private studios. We reboard our private aircraft for an enthralling flight along the dramatic alpine scenery of the South Island. Experience incredible aerial views of the Westland National Park, which stretches from the coast to the tops of the spectacular Southern Alps. Arrive this afternoon at Te Anau. Day 8 - Doubtful Sound / Queenstown The Fiordland National Park is New Zealand's largest, spread over its most rugged and remote region. Today visit one of the most remarkable untouched regions of the National Park - Doubtful Sound. A cruise will highlight the dramatic scenery where the high vertical walls of the Sound protect the pristine wilderness. Then a scenic flight to Queenstown and the "Remarkables". Day 9 - Queenstown Enjoy a scenic drive to Glenorchy, then experience the thrill of a jetboat on the Dart River through "Lord of the Rings" country. Then travel the "backroad" by four wheel drive via "Paradise" back to Gelnorchy before returning to Queenstown. Accommodation: Sofitel Hotel or similar
Day 10 - Queenstown /Dunedin / Christchurch Heading east a short flight takes us across magnificent alpine scenery to Dunedin. Dunedin is the old Gaelic name for Edinburgh in Scotland, and with its ornate Victorian architecture it bears resemblance to its namesake. Re-board the aircraft this afternoon for our final flight to Christchurch. Accommodation: The George Hotel or similar
Day 11 - Christchurch Spend the day exploring the charming city of Christchurch. Stroll along the banks of the Avon River, browse the shops or enjoy the sights from a local tram. Tonight we have our farewell dinner at the hotel. Accommodation: The George Hotel or similar
Day 12 - Christchurch Your circumnavigation of New Zealand concludes today with connecting flights to your home city.
