Giving Something back to the community

Led by the inspiration of the communities that generously open their hearts and their homes to us, Bill Peach Journeys is delighted to give something back to the community in return.

It is fitting that we have chosen the Royal Flying Doctor Service as our offical charity for the fine work they do in remote communities.

Bill Peach Journeys has also donated funds during the 2011 flooding in Queensland, Northern New South Wales and Victoria. At Bill Peach Journeys we tried to work out a way that we could somehow support these communities. Of course apart from in the long term continuing to bring our clients to these regions through tourism we also donated over $5000 to the Red Cross.

We believe we also have a commitment to the world in which we live and travel.  Bill Peach Journeys uses the services of local tour operators and guides in each of the destinations visited, thereby contributing to the local economy.
